Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.
Information: Criollo and Corojo Binders, Corojo, Criollo and Habano Filler all coming from selected farms : such as finca El Pedrero, Las Lometas and La Bonita, all property of the Garcia family, finished with a beautiful Mexico Rosado Oscuro wrapper.
Size: 5.25×52, Boxpressed Robusto.
Wrapper: Coffee beans, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a creamy milk chocolate, coffee nibs and oakwood.
2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours but with a spicy touch added.
Burn: Fairly sharp, white firm and stable ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps the flavours from parts 2.
Duration: 18:50-19:50, 1h.
Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
