226. Saga Short Tales Tomo V: L.A.V. (Laudamus Abundantia Veteres) We honour the richness of the time past (Panetelas)

Gifted by Jean-Michel Louis, Brand Ambassador and In-house Belgian at De Los Reyes Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Light brown, silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel all over.

Cold draw: Wood and something else I can’t put my finger on.

1st third: Starts with a nutty and woody note rounded up by a caramel sweetness which just make this an amazing start.

2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours but with a little more emphasis on the wood, still very smooth.

The burn: Burns steady and sharp with a white stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white creamy smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge and a light draw.

3rd third: No changes, very well balanced cigar.

Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a mild strength profile. Very enjoyable smoking experience, right up my alley.

Result: In my book this is an 92 point cigar.
