Wrapper: Mahogany brown, oily and smooth texture with small protruding veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Earthy and oakwood.
1st third: Starts with raw hazelnuts, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger spice, digestive biscuits and some woodiness.
2nd third: While keeping the previous flavours intact, it’s definitely more pinewood forward in this part.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: A ramp up in the spice department. But a chocolate sweetness lingers on the background.
Duration: 19:35-21:15, 1h 40min.
Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Enjoyable smoking experience.
Result: In my book this is a 90 point cigar.
