Size: 6×48, Corona Gorda.

Wrapper: Chestnut brown, oily and smooth texture with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm and a little uneven feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Oakwood.

1st third: Starts with oakwood, roasted hazelnuts and chestnuts, dried figs and medium roasted coffee.

2nd third: Continues inline with before with a slight black tea and black pepper note added.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.

3rd third: While the previous flavours have mellowed out quite nicely towards the end of this experience, a nice chocolate cake note brings the sweetness to round it out.

Duration: 18:30-20:10, 1h 40min.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Enjoyable smooth smoking experience that gives a good complexity and slow smoking experience.

Result: In my book this is a 91 point cigar.
